The Shanghai Institute of Space Power-Sources is a space power system research institute affiliated with the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). It serves as China's primary leading entity for the overall development and integration of space power systems. The Institute is primarily engaged in the research, design, manufacturing, and testing of power systems and key standalone products for applications in manned spaceflight, lunar exploration programs, BeiDou navigation satellites, launch vehicles, space science, and other related fields.
